LeRoy, “Roy” Daugherty, 72, died Friday evening, September 10, 2010. His wife, Pru; son, Randy, son, Michael and daughter-in-law, Shelly; daughters, Annette, Laura, and Sharon Wendy; sister, Olivia Jordan; and numerous other family members survive him. Roy was a member of Ironworkers Local 28 in Richmond, VA until 1992 when he retired on disability.
He is at Woody Funeral Home-Atlee Chapel. There will be a viewing for those who feel a need to say a personal “good-bye” on Saturday, September 15, 2010, 2-4 PM. A farewell service will be held immediately after the viewing at 4 PM. He will be cremated shortly after the service. Please send no flowers. We are surrounded by a loving family.
