She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Collins; son, Douglas Collins; parents, William and Louise Ball Noel; sisters, Geraldine Noel Boone Slusher, Zola Mae Noel Triplett Novia; and brothers, Frankie Noel Jr., William J. Noel.
Lola worked as an examiner with the U.S. government. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bluefield, Virginia and the Daughters of the Confederacy.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Gary Lynn Collins (Lydia), Joseph Noel Collins (Missy); grandchildren, Gary Collins II, Greg Collins, Maddie Collins, Carter Collins; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Collins, Bailey Collins, Fiona Collins, Zachary Collins; and sister, Frances Noel Weeks.
Lola will be laid to rest with a private ceremony in Signal Hill Memorial Park, Hanover, Virginia.
