Obituary of Maebry A. Haislip
“Heaven blew every trumpet and played every horn on the wonderful, marvelous night you were born.” Maebry Anne Haislip, born on February 8, 2019, passed away on May 12, 2020 at the age of 15 months old. Maebry lived in Hanover, Virginia and is survived by her loving parents Jason and Traci Haislip; and the best big brother in the world, Beckett Haislip. She was deeply loved by so many people including her Grammie and Gramps, Vanessa and Mike Haislip; Her Nana and Poppy, Laurianne and Paul Freeman; along with her great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. We are comforted in knowing she gained her wings and joined her aunt Melissa- her guardian angel in heaven. Maebry had big beautiful hazel eyes that shined so brightly at everyone she met. Maebry loved dancing in the kitchen with her big brother, mud puddles, playing with her water table and splashing at bath time. Her favorite food was noodles and without a doubt her favorite word was “Mama”. Services will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at First Baptist Church, 800 Thompson Street, Ashland, VA 23005. Visitation will be from 9 am – 11 am, followed by the service at 11 am. Please note the church will be at limited capacity and will follow social distancing protocol. Once filled, we ask that friends and family still show up to support the family from the parking lot and participate using the virtual service link as we would still love to have a “full house”. The virtual service link will go live at the service time and can be found on the First Baptist Church Facebook page: https://bit.ly/fbcafunerals Following the services, the family invites all to attend the 1 pm burial at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, VA 23150, which will be escorted by the Henrico County Police Department.
