

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Elvin Leith Talley; her parents, James Bradley Atkinson and Mary B. West; and her brother, James Bradley.
She is survived by her three sons, Elvin Jr. (Ginger), Randal (Robbie), and Jeffrey (Andrea); a daughter, Karen Pittman; two sisters, Elizabeth King and Carole Crossman (Charles); as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who all hold cherished memories of her love and care.
Margaret lived a full life, finding joy in every moment spent with her family. She had a love for cooking, gardening, and reading, but her skill for crocheting was unmatched. Margaret could crochet anything and continued crafting beautiful afghans up until her final days. Margaret was a devoted member of Enon United Methodist Church in Studley, where her faith and sense of community were strong and unwavering.
The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Woody Funeral Home, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, VA 23005 where a funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Ln., Richmond, VA 23222.
The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Margaret’s memory to Enon United Methodist Church in Studley.
