As part of a large migrating family of 20 aunts and uncles from Holland, Marianne enjoyed spending time with all her cousins at the many family get-togethers as she grew up. Special thanks go to Aunts Maayke and Bertie; cousins, Wilma and Maria; and nieces, Tara and Amber. The past two years Marianne has been a at home caring and raising her grandson, Kingston. Marianne, like her father Hans, loved animals, especially her dogs; Snowball, Keisha, Rusty and Harley. She was an avid gardener with a love of day lilies, hostas, lilacs and butterfly bushes, and enjoyed getting her hands dirty. A favorite place of hers was Rehoboth Beach and its boardwalk. Her favorite charity was St Jude. We will miss her heart of gold, tell it like it is attitude and out spoken manner.
