Marjorie Gene Layne, 89, of Richmond, Va., passed away February 13, 2015. She is survived by three brothers, Leslie F. Layne, Jr., Stuart D. Layne and Curtis R. Layne; one niece; two nephews. Ms. Layne was a member of Northminster Baptist Church, past member of the Chesterfield Education Association and taught in Chesterfield County Schools 30 of 34 years before retiring. A graveside service will be held Monday, February 16, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
