Mary Jane Soles

Soles, Mary Jane, 71, of Mechanicsville, Va. passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2012, surrounded by her family and friends after a long, courageous fight with liver disease. She was born on September 19, 1940 in Goochland, VA.

Mary Jane was predeceased by her father, John W. Allen, her son, Dennis W. Dameron, her grandson, Wayne Dameron, and brother, Steve G. Allen. She is survived by her mother, Eula P. D'Antoni of Goochland, her sons, Ronald E. Dameron, Stanley D. Dameron both of Middlesex, VA, and Edward Garry Soles, of Mechanicsville, Va., three sisters, two brothers, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren. Mary Jane retired from Hanover County Social Services, and spent her retirement years traveling, being an avid Nascar racing fan, and spending quality time with her family. She will be remembered for her love of people, her zest for life, and her beautiful smile. A memorial service will be held for Mary Jane at the Woody Funeral Home, Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23116 on Saturday, June 30, 2012 from 1 to 2 pm.
