Nancy was a long-time faithful member of Cool Spring Baptist Church. As a young mother her children kept her very busy, and she still managed to plant a half-acre garden to feed her family. Vacations often included road trips with antique cars, a couple movies showcasing the antique cars, and many parades. During the day she might walk by the piano and stop to play one of the songs she had memorized in her repertoire. Christmas was her favorite time of the year, and the fireplace was always hung with a horde of stockings. Her biggest accomplishment was the owning and managing her father’s moving business, Tanner’s Transfer and Storage. Nancy was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
