Patrick Scott Borka

Patrick Borka, 47, of Mechanicsville, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, after a bout of COVID-19. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mary; a daughter, Bailey; his father, Greg and his wife, Kathy; four brothers, Tim and his wife, Mica, Chris and his wife, Sara, Andrew and his wife, Alison, and Kevin; an aunt, Marie and her husband, Larry; and cousins, Marleana and Stephanie and her husband, Andy. Patrick was an avid motorcyclist, and he loved taking something apart to see how it worked. He also enjoyed skateboarding, meeting new people, and photography. He loved his dogs, Einstein, Jake, Elwood and Rigby, and tolerated the cats, Juliet and Valentine. The family will receive friends 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021, at the Atlee Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 9271 Shady Grove Road, Mechanicsville, where a funeral service will follow at 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Mary and Bailey want to say, younger people are not safe from the severe effects of COVID-19, so please get your vaccination.
