Raymond, Bernard Kessler, died on October 29, 2010. Beloved husband of Jacqueline; loving father of Burnieta, Claire, Scott (Kristin) and Bruce; dear grandfather of Kevin, Christine, Kate, Leroy and Ellis; brother of Dorothy Rieken (Joe) and Jeannette Ortmann (Wayne); son of the late Raymond and Cecelia Kessler; loving uncle, cousin and friend.
Raymond was a retired Commander in the United States Navy, Medical Service Corp. and veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 4, at 7pm, at Church of the Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 8275 Meadowbridge Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23116, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment with full military honors will be held at 10am, on Friday, November 5, at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road (Route 619), Triangle, VA 22172.
