CLAPP, Roger Howland Jr., 54, of Hanover, Va., passed away on October 5, 2011 following a long illness. He was born on March 17, 1957 in Greenwich Conn., and moved to Richmond in 1972. He graduated from Gill School in Chesterfield, Va., and James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va. He was the former Vice President and a founding partner of ColorTree Printing of Richmond, and the Director of Marketing for Duplex Envelope Company. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Throssell Clapp; and three children, Patrick Allen, Emily Elizabeth and Abigail Lynn. He was the son of Roger H. Clapp and the late Patricia Townshend Clapp of Naples, Fla.; and the brother of Georgia Louise Clapp of Richmond and Sarah Townshend Clapp of Naples, Fla. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Hanover at 2 p.m. on Friday October 7, 2011. A reception will follow.
