She is survived by her husband of 65 years, William F. Callis Jr., her children, Timothy L. Callis, Linda C. Erby, and Rachel C. Denny, grandchildren, Erin D. Walker, Jessica E. Harrison, Joseph Denny.
Ruby retired from the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, and was a longtime member of Bethesda Baptist Church and Northside Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm, Friday, June 1, at the Atlee Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, Route 301 and Shady Grove Rd. Services will be held at the funeral home at 1pm, on Saturday, June 2. Interment Signal Hill. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
