She is survived by her cousins Mary DuVal and Joyce Clyborne as well as other extended family.
Ruth was employed for many years as a teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School. She was a longtime member of Christ Ascension Episcopal Church, active in church organizations, the choir, and the Ladies Sewing Group. She was also a member of Alpha Rho Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.
Visitation will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Christ Ascension Episcopal Church, 1704 W. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23227, with service to follow at 1 PM.
Burial will be private.
