Steven “Carter” Hamilton Parks, passed peacefully Thursday, September 8, 2016 after fighting each day for 6 months in NICU. He is survived by his mother Kelli, father Matt, sister Julia, grandparents RandI Hall, Becky Parks, and Mike Parks, aunts, uncles, extended family, and countless friends that loved him dearly even though most never met him. His time with us was short, but he fulfilled many purposes and touched the heart of everyone that knew of him. He joins his PawPaw (Steve Hall of Huntington, WV) in Heaven, whom he shared both his birthday and his name.
Services will be held at Bon Air Baptist Church, 2531 Buford Road. On Wednesday September 14, 2016. Visitation from 3-4pm, and Memorial service at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that monetary donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House or the Preeclampsia Foundation, or the gift of life can be given by donating blood to your local blood bank.
