No memorial service is planned. She will be buried at Eagle Point National Cemetery with her husband, Leonard, who preceded her in death.
Angie was born October 8, 1938, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada to John and Lillian Moore and married Leonard Rhyner in Juneau, Alaska, on July 8, 1966.
Angie received her Nursing diploma from Montreal General Hospital. She worked in Canada, California, Hawaii, Alaska, Nevada and Oregon. She retired from Rogue Regional Medical Center after 22 years in 2002, where she had served as a Nursing Supervisor.
Angie was known for her zany sense of humor. She entertained the masses when she performed as the RVMC mascot, the chicken, “Penny Cillin”. She loved nature, animals, friends, Big Band music and always attended the Medford Jazz Festival.
