April Lynn Smith

April 8, 1961 – November 18, 2024

April Lynn Smith, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024. Born on April 8, 1961, in Carson City, Nevada, to Paul and Julie Regnani, April was a light in the lives of all who knew her.

April is survived by her devoted husband, Dane Smith; her loving mother, Julie Johnson; her son, Brandon Farquhar; and her treasured grandchildren, Tayzen, Corbin, and Logan Farquhar. She also leaves behind her sister, Lauren Regnani, her brothers, Robert Price and John Price, and her former husband, Ronald Farquhar. Her fur babies—Sofie, Tebow, Daisy, and Taz—were also a special part of her family.

A graduate of Medford Senior High School, April had a flair for fashion and interior design that inspired everyone around her. She spent 40 years at General Credit Service, where her leadership shone as the owner of the agency from 2000 to 2007. Beyond her professional accomplishments, April was an active member of her community, serving on the Asante Foundation Board and Consumer Credit Counseling Service, as well as being a proud member of Rotary. She also was a licensed real estate broker with Windermere. She was extremely proud she passed her real estate exam on the first try!

April had a passion for life and found immense joy in traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved playing golf, a sport that brought her happiness and lasting memories with friends and family. She had a rare gift for making everyone she met feel special, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.

April’s kindness, grace, and vibrant spirit will be celebrated this spring with a Smith Family Golf Tournament to be held in her honor. If you wish to participate, please contact Dane Smith.
