I went to high school with Danny.  I walked miles of trails, and driven many miles with Danny.  It was hard not to like Danny, and impossible to not trust him.  We hitchhiked with David Samuels around the Northwest.  It was one of the best times of my life.  That night in Victoria, Canada was epic.  I still talk about it to this day.

I haven’t seen or heard from Danny in nigh on forty-five years, but in all that time I have counted Danny among some of my best friends.  I am sure he left this Earth with me in the same standing.  Hearing of his passing has left my insides ringing like a bell.  He will certainly be missed.
