He worked at Ford Motor Company Tractor Division for several years, and also owned and operated several machine shops. David loved nature and working on cars and computers. He enjoyed owning and flying his Ryan Navion. He was the beloved husband of Guifen Chen, son of John L. Richards(deceased) and Carol J. Richards. Dear father of Jackie Richards, brother of John Richards, Jr., Carol L. Richards, Deborah Crowe, Lisa Richards, Paul Richards, and Mark Richards. A Memorial dinner is being planned to take place in Belleville, Michigan. Date and time to be announced.
