Doris Afton Johnson

Doris was born October 7, 1928 in Crescent City, CA to Dolphes Hannah and Afton Madden Hannah.

She married Oliver Johnson, the love of her life on August 22, 1947 in Medford, OR they had 5 Children. They celebrated 61 years of marriage together prior to his passing.

Doris was employed at Jackson County court House as payroll clerk for 18 years, after retirement they settled in Harbor, OR enjoying the ocean and mostly cooler temperatures, Doris moved to Central Point for the last two years with her daughter, enjoying family, reading and staying in touch with her sisters and friends.

Doris is survived by her children, son Larry Johnson and his wife Janice, Fort Collins Co, daughter Sherry McMahan, Central Point, OR, sons, Johnny Johnson and Will Johnson and his wife Denise, Columbus IN, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; sisters, Jeanette Wright, Greenfield MO, Catherine Fuchs, Medford, OR., and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter Shirley Martin.

Interment will be held at the Eagle Point VA Cemetery on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 11 am to honor their 75th Anniversary. All are welcome to celebrate Doris’s life.
