Our father looked forward to his phone calls and visits over the years with both Elizabeth and Dick. They were such a wonderful support for my brothers and me while our parents were in poor health.

Whenever we go to the Waverly Cemetery, we see the graves of Oscar and Nell, who was our grandfather’s aunt.

Elizabeth was indeed a lovely person and I know you will all miss her.

Mrs. Chamberlin was an elegant woman in every sense of the word. 
A wife who adored her husband, a mother who had zero doubt the sun, the moon, and the stars in heaven all rose and set in her two daughters... a loyal and true friend. 
Mrs. Chamberlin had a wonderful and delightful sense of humor, abiding good natured kidding and returning the same with grace and a smile. 
I have never forgotten the kindness and friendship of Mr. and Mrs. Chamberlin towards a young man dating their younger daughter, nor have I forgotten the example they set for the way a husband and wife should respect and love each other. 
It was a privilege and a blessing for me to have known them both.
