George Thomas Van Hoye

Dad served in the U.S Marine Corp and fought in Vietnam. After the service he began his love for riding motorcycles and loved the ape hanger Harley Davidson. He loved riding and spending time outside while camping, fishing or going on walks, especially in the desert. He collected coins and enjoyed working out, but the thing that really meant a lot to him was rebuilding his 51’ Chevy pick up truck.

He fell in love with Kimberly Grinstead and became a father of two. He was a proud dad that always showed his kids the correct way of doing things and taught them manners and to treat people with respect. He worked hard in life to support his family no matter what he had to do. Family meant the world to him, he taught us, that without family you have nobody. Dad also loved animals, at times it seemed as if he could talk to them. He had a good heart and would do anything for anyone who needed him.

George is survived by a son Daniel (Somer) Van Hoye, their children Kryztian Van Hoye, Nevaeh Van Hoye and Rayven Boatwright. Daughter Tasey Graves and children Kyle Graves, Kira Graves, Michael Glockling and

Anna Glockling. He is also survived by his girlfriend Cindy McJunkin, a sister Wanda Morris, and a brother Will Van Hoye.

A committal service will be held Friday June 12, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
