Jack Richard MacGowan, of Etna, Calif., passed away on February 23, 2022 at Madrone Hospice in Yreka, Calif. He was born on February 1, 1936 in Eureka, Calif. to Bessie and Clyde MacGowan.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, sister Lyrle, and brothers Leslie Gene and James.
Jack leaves behind wife Molly, brother Clyde Jr. and sister Nancy, along with children Ginger and Karen, grandchildren Amber, Wade, Chelsea, Kiah and Jake, and three great-grandchildren.
Jack and Molly were married on March 20, 1965 in San Francisco, Calif. They have lived in Etna for 50 years.
Jack was an automotive specialist and part-time farmer. He was smart, independent and stubborn.
