

Jeremy Winter Salsig July 22, 1945 ~ August 24, 2016 Jeremy Winter Salsig passed peacefully after a long battle with early onset Alzheimer’s disease. Heaven will be a little brighter in welcoming him. Winter was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, July 22, 1945. His father was a night fighter pilot in the Navy, and the family moved many times through their early years. His mother, a published author and professional photographer, raised Winter and his three siblings to be successful professional people in their own right. Winter graduated from Coronado High School, Coronado, California, and went on to graduate from Arizona University with a degree in accounting. He went on to join Daimler Benz AG in the trucking division. After achieving a M.B.A. he was promoted to middle management and became Division Manager for a five state region in the upper Midwest. He retired in 2002. He is survived by his beloved wife of forty years, Sally Soukup Salsig; his son, Travis Fletcher Salsig; his step-daughter, Mia Z. Michel; two sisters and a brother; and four grandchildren. A private celebration of life is planned.
