Jerome “Jerry” Franklin Turney passed away at home peacefully, September 8, 2018. Jerry was born August 15, 1942 to Fred and Charlene (Mitchell) Turney in Portland, Oregon. He grew up in San Leandro, California. He retired to the Rogue Valley from the city of San Leandro water treatment plant in 2008. He and his wife Jackie enjoyed backpacking and going to Raiders football games.
Jerry is survived by his children; Eric (Jenn) Turney, Danika (John) Kirk, Aaron Turney; grandchildren, Christian & Harrison Turney, and Alyssa & Tyler Kirk. He was also survived by his sweet Bella, aka Godzilla.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his dear wife of 20+ years, Jackie who passed away in 1999.
