Mary Madeline Vieira

Born on September 17, 1924, in Los Banos, Ca to the late John and Belmira Pacheco. She married John Vieira in 1942, then gave birth to her only son John Wayne Vieira. Throughout her life, she was a dedicated homemaker, property manager, and aide at Dominican Hospital. Her hobbies included reading, puzzle making, gardening, cross work puzzles and crocheting. She loved Steve Harvey and watching Family Feud.

Mary's greatest pride and joy in her life was her family and raising her son and grandson. She loved spending time with her sisters, brother and family while they reminisced of the old days. She was a great storyteller and loved to make people laugh.

Anyone who knew Mary witnessed her love of animals, especially her numerous dogs and cats. There was never an animal that went hungry around Mary.

She was the heart and soul of our family and will be deeply missed.

Mary was proceeded in death by her parents, John and Belmira Pacheco, sisters Aileen Miner, Edwina Edmondson, Alice Hayes, Hilda Pacheco, and her husband John Vieira.

She is survived by her loving and caring son, John and his wife Suzanne; grandson Darren and his wife Dawn, great granddaughter Jayden Johns and her husband Mason; great grandson Darren; brother Dan Pacheco and his wife Sue; many nieces, nephews and chosen family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held July 7th at 2pm at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park in Watsonville, CA.
