She met and married Delaine Dwinger in 1955.
She grew up on a farm and was an avid gardener. After
moving to the Rogue Valley she and Delaine enjoyed being a part of the local tractor club.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Jackie Lynn Dwinger.
She is survived by her children, Gail (Dwinger) Morrill,
Eugene Duane Dwinger and Diane ( Dwinger) Journagan,. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grand children.
She spent the last 4.5 years living her best life with her granddaughter Paige Journagan and Patrick Just.
