Myron Kenny Ashcraft

Myron Kenneth Ashcraft (Kenny) age 89, passed away peacefully at home with family on May 29, 2023 in Medford Oregon, born to the late Pearl and Byram. Siblings preceded in death Gladas, Kathryn, Robert & Howard.

Survived by wife Beth, brother Ray and Sister Doris. 6 children Debi Parker, Cari Plyley, Tina Cunningham, Trish Logan, David Meeds and Tami Meeds.

11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. 4 adopted children Karen, Ron, Clyde and Pam.

Kenny was in the air force for 4 years as an airplane mechanic, he then worked as a carpenter/heavy equipment operator. He homesteaded in Alaska before marrying Beth, they were married in Medford, Oregon on March 31, 1984.

Ken and Beth moved from Sam’s Valley Oregon to Gold Beach Oregon in 1991 then settled in Nasika Beach Oregon in June of 1994. Kenny was known as the Kris Kringle of Kookies/The Kookie man in Gold Beach Oregon from 1997 to 2016 where he baked, packaged and him and Beth delivered 2 dozen cookies per plate to the community (police station, banks, grocery store, friends etc.) for 19 years, he was up to well over 600 dozen cookies per year.

2016 Ken and Beth moved back to Medford Oregon to be with family, where he continued the Kookie tradition.
