Patricia Emily Bell

Patricia Emily Bell, 83, of Medford Oregon passed away peacefully in her home on August 13, 2017. Patricia was born on February 27, 1934 in Brooklyn, New York to Edgar & Helena Bell. She moved to Los Angeles, California at an early age where she met & married Walter Torsney. Together they had four daughters. Patricia was very active in her children's school PTA where she was elected and served as president for many years. An avid Dodgers fan, she often joked how she followed the team from Brooklyn to Los Angeles. She loved nothing more than laughing & being with her family. Patricia is survived by her sister Joanie Bauman and brother-in-law Walter Bauman both of San Diego, California; her daughters, Kathleen Torsney of Oceanside, California, Colleen Moore of Medford Oregon, Christine Caldwell & son-in-law Robert Caldwell Jr. of Ashland, Oregon; grandsons James Torsney of Stockton, California, Eddie Torsney of Medford, Oregon and Kevin Caldwell of Ashland, Oregon; granddaughters Adrienne Nicole Young of Delaware and Leandra Holly (Tricia Marie) of Massachusetts; great grandsons, DeVaughn and Dante Torsney of Stockton, California. Patricia was preceded in death by her third daughter Maureen Torsney & brother Edward Bell. There will be a private service in Oceanside, CA where her ashes along with those of her brother Edward's will be set free in the Pacific Ocean she so loved. Patricia was very loved & will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
