Patricia was born on December 18, 1932 in Richmond, California to Kingsley and Gladys Perkins.
Patricia married Edwin E. O’Brien on September 7, 1952, and the couple had four children together. They lived in Manteca, California for 58 years where Patricia was a teacher’s aide at Lincoln Elementary School. She loved her family, her pets, gardening, and was a talented crafter who could sew, knit, crochet, and paint. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Manteca Fire Department and with the Manteca Police Department SHARP (Senior Helping Area Residents and Police) program. In 2015 they moved to Medford, Oregon.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Edwin, daughter Connie Sickler, daughter Susan Schaapman, son David O’Brien, daughter Lori O’Brien and son-in-law Sean Blackburn. She was a loving grandmother to nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
