Reba A. Nelson passed away peacefully to the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016. Born February 16, 1944 to William and Sarah Stockman of Pine Hill, Alabama. Fifth of seven children, Reba grew up surrounded by many loved ones on the family farm. Reba learned to cook at a young age and often showed her love within her cooking and baking. After high school graduation, she moved to California with her sister. She met Glenn Nelson and they were married on Sept. 9, 1965. Glenn and Reba celebrated their 50th anniversary last year. Reba is survived by her husband, two sons, Chris and Jon (Michelle); and two grandchildren, Karah and Jazmine. A woman of profound faith and caring, Reba will be missed by family and friends. A service of celebration will be held at 12pm on Wed., Aug. 31st at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 95 Cleveland St, Shady Cove, OR, Rev. Mary Piper, officiant.
