Richard Floyd Kufner

Richard was born May 16, 1948 to his parents James Robert Sr. & Betty Eleene Kufner in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

Richard began working right out of high school at Oak Street Tank and Steel and Lithia Park in grounds keeping. He later moved to Santa Barbara, California to start his own landscape business, where he found the love of cooking. It is also in Santa Barbara where he would meet his wife Debbie. Together they moved back to Oregon where Richard worked as a sou chef at Ashland Hills Inn. He also worked at the Peppermill as a sou chef.

Richard had many hobbies such as fishing, camping, rafting, hiking, and handmade stained glass. Richard also enjoyed mining for gold on his Happy Times One claim.

Richard is survived by his wife Debbie, Mother Betty, three sons; Douglas Eugene, Jason Michael, and Robert Samuel. Three brothers; James Robert Jr., Ronald Paul, and John Edward, two grandsons; Quentin Thomas and Henry Jason.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2pm June 29, 2018 at Ashland Christian Fellowship 50 West Hersey Ashland, Oregon
