Richard Wayne Stancliff

Richard Wayne Stancliff, 95, of Medford, Oregon passed away August 4, 2023. Richard was born June 28, 1928 in Bevan, Ohio to Wayne and Mildred Stancliff.

Richard is survived by his daughter; Linda J. Conforti-Stancliff, of Beaumont, CA, son; Richard D. and wife, Shirley Stancliff, of Medford, OR. His sister, Doris Zizzi-Stancliff, also survives him.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Kelly-Stancliff; brother, Harold Stancliff. His wife, Margaret J. Stancliff; daughter, Marjorie Ann Conforti; son, Stephan Nelson Stancliff; grandson Colby Lee Conforti, and great grandson Shawn Anthony Auzenne also preceded him.

As a young man Richard served his country as a Marine during WWII. He married the love of his life, Margaret Baxter following his discharge. They had four children, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

Richard worked as a precision tool grinder most of his life to support his family and lost his hearing because of this. His was very serious about his hobby of gold and silver mining, and his interests included history, especially the Civil War.

Richard was greatly loved and respected by his family and will be missed immensely.
