Rita Coughlin

Rita Marie Wiesner Coughlin , age 92, passed away at Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR on June 29, 2017. Rita was born in Rochester ,NY on Sept 2, 1924 to Anna Reber Weisner and Aloysius Wiesner. She was the oldest of their 4 daughters. She married Richard H. Coughlin in Rochester , NY on May 29, 1948. She is preceded in death by her spouse Richard Coughlin ( 2005 ), and her son Richard Coughlin ( of Phoenix, AZ - 2016), as well as 2 of her sisters, Helen and Margaret. She is survived by her daughter Wendy Cetera ( spouse William) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and her grandson Todd Coughlin of Tempe , AZ and her granddaughter Shayne Coughlin Navarro ( spouse Sal) of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by her sister Lois who lives in the Washington DC area. Rita has lived the last 11 years at Weatherly Inn in Medford, OR, where she volunteered her time in the library.Rita was a very avid reader and often said “ I need to live to be 200 to read all the books I want to read”. Rita was a very adventuresome woman and one who will be missed by many friends in Medford, OR. There will be a memorial “Celebration Of Life” at 1:30 pm, Saturday July 22, 2017 at Weatherly Inn 2180 Poplar Dr. Medford, OR.
