Ryan was such a loving and selfless man. He was "that guy" that always lended a helping hand whenever he could. Ryan was a wildland firefighter who loved working on cars, fishing, four wheeling, rooting for his favorite football team, the Raiders, and most importantly, spending time with his family and his kids.
As Ryan was getting ready to go fishing mothers day morning, he collapsed out of no where. My brother was rushed to the hospital, as he was non responsive, and was struggling to breathe on his own. That evening as we sat by his bedside in the ICU, our family received the most devastating news we ever could have imagined. They told us my brother collapsed due to a brain aneurysm.
Ryan was your normal, healthy, 30 year old young man. Which made the news from the doctors that much harder to understand. The doctors did test after test for brain activity, but they told us there was none. Ryans last wish was to be an organ donor, and our family honored that wish. This unexpected tragedy has left our family so broken and lost.
Ryan is survived by his fiance Donna, his 5 children, including kailey 10 years old, and his youngest Ryan jr who is 4 years of age. His father Steven, stepmother Charla, mother Janette, brothers Larry, Robert, James, Caiden and Josh, his sisters Vanessa, Ashley and Alizabeth.
