Born in New York, NY and raised in Far Rockaway, Sheila traveled the world and made life-long friends in all the places she lived, including Del Mar, CA, Sydney, Australia, and Phoenix, OR.
Sheila is survived by her husband Paul and her son Brett (Andrea). She was the adored "Mimi" to her grandchildren, Andrew and Claire Bersson. Sheila is also survived by her sister Adele Harris, sister-in-law Louise Gross, and many nieces and nephews. Sheila was the daughter of the late Bernard and Jean Gross and sister of the late Jay Gross.
Sheila's love of travel brought people from many diverse cultures and ethnicities together. She touched many lives through her work as a counselor. Sheila lived her life by the doctrine Love all Serve All. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
