

Steven Lee Strange born, May 21, 1945, passed away July 3, 2015 at the age of 70. He was third of nine children born to Dern and Una Strange in Spanish Fork, UT. Steven was a Navy Vietnam Veteran, USN Heavy Attack Squadron 8. Steven began his career as a Washington State Trooper. Steven and his family moved to Oregon where he was a Respiratory Therapist for 24 years at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. Before his retirement in January 2014, Steven worked as a Safety and Security Officer at Amy’s Kitchen. In his free time Steven enjoyed spending most of his time with family and his animals. He also enjoyed reading books, attending North Medford sporting events, volunteering at a local animal shelter and watching the History Channel. Steven is survived by his wife Julie, his children, BJ Brown and Chris Strange, his step-children Christine and Ryan Harder and grandchildren Brenda Johnson-Strange, and Jacob and Jessie Brown.
