Susan Elizabeth Jones

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that our dear friend, Susan E. Jones, passed early Tuesday morning. As her valiant battle against Alzheimer's came to an end, Sue received all the comfort and love possible from Toni and Toni's family (Karen, Kathy, Dale and Cris). A precious friend to many of us, and soul mate to Toni, Sue will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity, intelligence, quick wit, and so many more gracious traits.

Sue's brilliance led to Ph.D.s in both law and psychology. Her research led to a career path as founder and senior partner of one of the nation's most respected jury consulting firms (Jury Research Institute). She is a nationally recognized visionary and pioneer in the field of jury research and trial strategies; was a highly sought-after lecturer by national, state and local bar associations; authored and lent expertise to numerous articles for publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, and Law & Psychology Review.

Sue was a lover of the outdoors and was drawn to all furry and cuddly creatures. Often those furry creatures were equally drawn to her. Many of us were blessed to share special adventures with Sue in campgrounds, on rivers, on golf courses, on horseback, traveling the world, playing Charades or just sitting together swapping stories.

A Celebration of Life will take place poolside at TLM, Friday, August 7t, starting at 5pm. Sue's favorite foods will be provided. Side dishes or desserts are welcomed. Please RSVP to Lauralee at [email protected] or text 541.272.1309.
