Velma Maxine Miller

She had two brothers, Herschel Lester Miller Jr. and Ronnie Joe Miller Sr.

Velma gave birth to seven children: Yulonda Yvette Williams, William Edward Pentico, Richard Alan Pentico, Johnathan Wayne Pentico, Janet, Shasta Danielle Elizabeth Payne and Brandon Michael Keith Payne.

She had 13 grandchildren and some great grandchildren as well as a few great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by both parents and her son, Johnathan. Velma’s life has been an interesting one with many amazing stories to tell. From tragedies to miracles, her God was right beside her all the way. She grew up in a Christian home and served God until the day of her passing.

She had two main goals/dreams in life: to publish all her stories in one book and to purchase a huge piece of land where she could help many of her friends and family who were homeless or out of a job. She was known for her radiant smile and glowing countenance….so much so that people would say they wanted what she had. It was extremely contagious.

Velma’s passing marked the end of a very long struggle with many health issues, pain and suffering. She is resting peacefully now until the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
