Edith was the daughter of the late Edward and Gladys (Wright) Sloper.
She graduated of Medina High School, class of 1940. She has worked at Medina Parts Co. for 54 years. She worked for very nice people. She called it her second home.
She was predeceased by her husband, George Benthin, a brother and sister-in-law, John and Sally Sloper, Two nephews, Richard and John (Jack) Sloper. Edith is survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Relatives and friends may call from 7-8 PM on Friday, September 9, 2011 at the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY. Funeral service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorials may be made to a charity of ones’ choice.
