Edna Mae Harwood

Born on November 30, 1924, in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Bertha (Barrett) Easton.

Edna came to the Medina area in 1945 and in that same year met the late Lionel Harwood, whom she married on July 4, 1946. She was a devoted wife, mother and granny. She enjoyed reading the paper, country music and watching soap operas.

She is predeceased by a sister, Elva Smith

She is survived by her children, Georgia (George) Meyers of Spring Hill, FL; Bonnie (Gary) Palmer of Lebanon, TN; Russell (Star) Harwood and Lynn (John) Bolton, all of Medina; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, especially: Haylee, David, Tanley, and Kyle, a sister-in-law, Dorothy Easton of Batavia and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at 4-6 PM on Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM, with the Rev. Stanley A. Thurber officiating. Burial will be in the Bates Rd. Cemetery in the spring.
