James M. Szatkowski

Born on March 29, 1953, in Medina, NY, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Josephine (LaPoma) Szatkowski.

Jim graduated from Medina High School in 1972 and was employed by General Motors Delphi for over 30 years, retiring in 2005. He then moved to Waterloo, NY where he spent his last 10 years. While there, he was a active member of the Concerned Citizens of Seneca County. He was a active member 3rd Degree of Knights of Columbus # 651 Medina NY, where he served as Past President of the Social Club. He was a avid golfer and bowler, having bowled a perfect 300, and was a dedicated/diehard Buffalo Bills fan.

Jim is survived by his wife, Roberta (Wilcox) Szatkowski of Palm Coast FL., formerly of Waterloo; two children, Tracey Vargas of Medina, NY; James (Jimmy) Szatkowski of Orlando, FL; two brothers, Larry (Nancy) Szatkowski of Medina, NY; David (Patricia) Szatkowski of Amherst, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Also, two stepchildren and two step grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 4-7 PM at the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY with a final goodbye service to be held at 7 PM with the Rev. Danials J. Fawls officiating
