Luella R Pond

Born September 21, 1937 in Pennsylvania, she the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Keator. In 1976 she moved to the Medina area from the Portville/Olean area and raised seven children. She was a home health aide and private caregiver for many years. She was a member of Calvary Tabernacle Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by Seven Children: Clifford “Joe” (Cheryl) Johnson of Waterport; William “Bill” (Joanne Costich) Johnson of Medina; Patricia “Patty” (Rick) Amhrein of Attica; Sherry (Chris Luskin) Johnson of Niagara Falls; Tammy (Terry Lusk) Adkins of Medina, Timothy “Hoss” (Kathy Richards) Roy of Medina, Shawn Pond of Medina. 13Grandchildren; 7 Great-grandchildren. Sister Eva James of Olean. Brother Kenny Keator of Kansas

A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 3, 2011 at 11am at Calvary Tabernacle Assembly of God Church, 324 Catherine Street, Medina, NY 14103 with Pastor Vincent Iorio officiating. Memorials may be made in Luella’s name to the American Cancer Society, 101 John James Audubon Pkway., Amherst, NY 14228-1198. Arrangements are being handled through the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl Street, Medina, NY 14103
