Luella Turner

Born on January 24, 1937 in Macon, GA. She was the daughter of the late Jessie and Mattie Lou (Cunningham) Reese.

Luella came up from Macon GA. to the Medina area. She was married to the late Edison Taylor and worked for Fisher-Price for 25 years, right up to till their closing. She was a member of Glad Tidings Baptist Church of Medina and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and painted glass and pottery, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by seven children, Sandra (Gerald) Carroll of Buffalo; Ricky and Ronnie Taylor of Marshall, MI; Roy Taylor of Batavia; Larry Taylor of Fort Myers, FL; Valerie (Gregory) Munroe of Batavia; Michael Edison Taylor of Batavia; 20 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she is predeceased by a son, Kenny Taylor.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, June 10, 2015, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Glad Tidings Baptist Church, 404 W. Oak Orchard St. Medina, NY 14103, with the Pastor, Rev. Lambert Duncan officiating and burial will be in Boxwood Cemetery.
