Ruth L. Wells

Born on February 23, 1935, in N. Tonawanda, NY, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Florence (Martin) Eggert.

She grew up in Middleport, attending Royhart High School, On September 17, 1954, she married the late Luther E. Wells, together raising two sons. She liked puzzles, playing bingo and cards and at one-time attended the Middleport Lutheran Church.

She is survived by two sons, Robert Wells and Vincent (Donna) Wells, both of Shelby; grandchildren, Ronald Raglan of Medina and Jeff Raglan of Alabama; brother, Eddie (Barb) Eggert of Barker and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, April 24, 2015, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY, where a funeral service will be on Saturday at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Peter A. Lindemann officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
