

Born on February 27, 1940, in Wrightsville, GA, she was the daughter of the late John and Mamie Dent.
Sarah grew up in Georgia and later moved to Newark. NJ, where she lived up until 1980, then moving to Albion. In 1996, she married Deacon Thomas Thompson and was employed with the Orleans Co. Nursing Home.
She was a member of the Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of Albion and she enjoyed her flower garden, puzzles and video games.
She is survived by her husband, Deacon, Thomas Thompson; children, Bennie Frank Moore of Orange, NJ; Maurice Riddle; Denise (Charles) Cornick, all of Albion; Shannon (Cortland) Corbett of Roselle, NJ, 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marion Cotton of Medina and Sadie Randall of Newark, NJ and a host of nieces and nephews.
Besides her nine siblings, she is predeceased by a daughter, Connie Randall and a son, Peewee.
Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, April 13, 2013, from 11 AM- 1PM at the Bethel Baptist Church; Allis Rd. Medina, NY were a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with the Pastor, Rev. James A. Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Boxwood Cemetery, Medina.
