William H. VanderWoude

Bill was a lifelong resident of Medina, having graduated from Medina High School in1971. He worked at BernzOmatic and Worthington Industries for 43 years.

Bill had a variety of interests including photography, traveling to the Berkshires and Gettysburg and was a avid Civil War buff. Bill was greatly loved and will be very much missed by his family.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy (Harold) Peacock Knapp of Lyndonville; siblings, James and Robert VanderWoude of Medina, Linda VanderWoude of Brooklyn; nephew, Travis (Shannon) VanderWoude, great nephew, Chase and great niece, Payton, all of North Adams, MA. and many cousins.

He is predeceased by his father, Edzo VanderWoude.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, July 17, 2015 from 10 AM – 12 PM at the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon with the Rev. Russ Peters officiating and burial will be in the Millville Cemetery.
