Coleton Michael Newman

Coleton Michael Newman was born the son of Lucas and Amanda Newman on December 8, 2005, in Tucson, Arizona. He attended preschool to 7th grade in Milliken, Colorado. Coleton and his family moved to Meeker where he attended school, graduating with the Meeker High School class of 2024.

Coleton was a specialist with the United States Army 2504 White Devils Hatchet Company with the 82nd Airborne stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Coleton loved playing football, going hunting and fishing, riding his motorcycle, and jumping out of airplanes.

Coleton is survived by his parents, Luke & Amanda Newman; his siblings, Lilly and Westin Newman; maternal and paternal grandparents; and numerous aunts, uncles cousins and beloved friends in multiple communities.

A Celebration of Coleton’s life will be held at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Meeker High School football stadium, all are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Coleton's memory to the Meeker High School football team.
