Veyon Wagner

(Ellen) Veyon Wagner Nov. 18,1931 -Oct. 4,2026 Veyon was born Vernal Ut into a ranching family. They ran both sheep and cattle. She went to college at Mesa college in Grand Junction. She went on a 2 year mission then came home and worked at the Temple in Salt Lake. Veyon married Vernon Wagner in 1959. They had one son,Jim Wagner. Vern and Veyon ran cattle and bred Quarter horses in Meeker ,Co. Veyon worked for the Rio Blanco Clerk and Recorders office and then was elected to the position of Clerk and Recorder while still working as a full time rancher and mother. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Vern. Her son Jim and his wife Denise. Her Grandchildren Neal, Cody ,Casey, Ben, Christina and her husband Sean ,and Caitlin. Her great grandchildren, Roman, Haileigh, Riley, and Easton She brought great joy and love to our family and we will miss her! Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 16, 2026, at the Highland Cemetery in Meeker.
