Agnes Bailey Garner

Agnes B. Garner, 92, of Cordova, TN, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020.

She graduated from Treadwell High School and retired from the VA Hospital.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet Garner; a granddaughter, Gena Garner; a younger brother Oliver Bailey; a daughter-in-law, Peggy Garner; a godson, J. Spencer Medford; a beloved sister-in-law, JoAnn Bailey; a dear family friend, Patricia Matthews; many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Emmett R. Garner, Jr.

and her son, Emmett "Terry" Garner.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28th at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery Rotunda on Forest Hill Irene Road, Memphis. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
