Alan Spencer Floyd, age 74, of Bartlett, Tennessee passed away at his home in Bartlett on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022. Alan was born in Arkadelphia, AR on June 5th, 1947. He was preceded in death by his parents Ruth and Ermon “Coonie” Floyd of Malvern, AR, and his sister Janice Rhodes of Hot Springs, AR.
Alan spent a lifetime celebrating his love for cars as an auto-mechanic, repair shop manager, and automobile repair trainer. Alan enjoyed cooking for his family and was an avid fisherman. He was an enthusiastic student of American History, particularly the Civil War. He enjoyed visiting historic sites and museums with his sons and granddaughter.
Alan was survived by his longtime partner Judy Floyd, their sons Brian (Chris) and Jeff (Angela) Floyd, and his beloved granddaughter Maddie.
